Dear Sir:
This letter is to request a change to permit:NC0033111. The requested change is to discontinue
pulling chlorine samples to ensure the chlorine levels do not exceed 28 micrograms per liter.
We have switched from chlorine and dechlorination to Ultraviolet disinfection. This was put in use
starting August 2,2006. Since using U.V.disinfection we have not noted a chlorine residual above
the required limit.
We are currently requesting chlorine and dechlorination as a back-up system, however we will notify
the regional prior to putting this system in use. We are requesting the permit reflect this and only
require chlorine samples when the chlorine system is in use.
I can be reached at 1-800-348-2383 or cell phone(252)659-0514 if you have any questions. My E-
