Moore Supervisor, Aquatic Toxieology From Carol liollenkamp Quality Assurance Ofticer, Aquatic Toxicology Unit Subject: Whole effluent toxicity test results Hickory - Northeast WWTP NPDES Permit :# NC0020401/001 Catawba County The aquatic toxicity test using 24-hour flow proportional composite samples of effluent discharged from Hickory - Northeast WWTP has been completed: Hickory - Northeast WWTP has an effluent discharge permitted that is 6.0 million gallons per day (M.GD) entering the Catawba River (7Q1 0 of 60.0 CFS). Whole effluent samples were collected on July 9 and July 11 by Donna Hood and facility representative Jake Icenhour for use in a chronic Ceriodaphnia dubia pass -fail toxicity test. The test using these samples resulted in a pass.
