Hi Mr Anderson
This is Stefan Wilson with Bennick. To answer your questions about the Kuhlman project in
Rhodhiss. The 3 trees proposed in the permit for removal are not guaranteed to be taken out or
removed. I just added those trees in the permit application just in case. When we do a
shoreline we typically slightly slope the area to install the stone and to help fix any impacted
areas of erosion. That being said, times to arise where we will get into a root system of a tree
and inevitably will die down the road. So, in that case we try out very best to save and keep
any and all trees we can when doing our stabilization. But, if I see a tree or trees that are
borderline I will name them in the application along with trees that are certain to be removed.
In the case of the Kuhlman project, those 3 trees are not guaranteed to be taken out. And other
than those 3 trees that are borderline, there is no other impacts to the buffer that need to be
stated. If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
Thanks
Stefan Wilson
