Katie, We visited Banished Bull today and collected transect data to supplement the As -built report. We surveyed ten random transects throughout the site, the end points were flagged as well as the trees in each transect in the event DWR wants to revisit the site. The endpoints for each transect was GPSed in the field. Nine transects were above 260 stems per acre. Transect-8 did not meet success at only 121 stems per acre this is likely due to competition from dense Seteria parviflora in this particular transect. The site average is 441 stems per acre. Trees we located were generally vigorous, we found several dead nyssa sylvaticas. I have attached a map of the site depicting our transect locations and a table of our findings. Please let me know if there is any additional information you need. Thank you for accommodating us and letting us get out to the site and submit our findings. Thanks! Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam. Katie — I talked about our site visit today with Grant from Axiom. He mentioned that monitoring season is approaching and that it makes sense to do the site transects at the same time as year 1 monitoring. We'II wait to hear from you on where you want those transects located. How would you like us to submit the transect information? We were wondering, if you'd accept the as -built report you received in June and have the transect work as part of the year 1 report. Or, would you like us to resubmit the as -built with the transect data? Thanks for the visit today. I hope you and Joey were able to power through your second visit. It was a hot day! -Mike Mike Herrmann 1630 Weatherford Circle Raleigh, NC 27604 (p) 919-559-6264 mherrmann@watershedinvestmentsnc.net nrnrnr. n'atershedinvestmentsnc. net This electronic mail communication may contain privileged, confidential, and/or proprietary information which is the property of Watershed Investments NC, LLC or one of its affiliates.
