The application is currently incomplete and I need the following information in order to process the authorization: * What is temporary shoring? * Will the wetland areas within the temporary detour area be grubbed or hand cleared prior to the placement of fill? In many cases, temporary fills can have permanent adverse affects on wetland areas, especially in the case where compaction is an issue. If the area within the temporary detour will be grubbed, our authorization will likely include a condition that requires tilling and /or deep ripping the areas to minimize the effects of compaction. If the areas will be grubbed, please provide a restoration plan that includes the type and amount of vegetation that will be planted. In either case, our authorization will be conditioned to require visual monitoring to monitor the growth and composition of vegetation. Please provide the following information within 30 days from the date of this correspondence. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
