These comments were primarily focused on reducing impacts to the wetlands through which the walkway was proposed to transit for connection to the pier. The comments also addressed in - water work moratoria and erosion and sedimentation control. The comments on in -water work moratoria and erosion and sedimentation control appear to be standard, and the applicants have no objection to following the timing and practices to address these concerns. The applicants have agreed to address the concerns for reduction of impacts to the wetlands by reorienting the walkway to connect to the pier along and to the west of the wetland area. They feel this reorientation of the walkway is best accommodated by shifting the in -water alignment of the pier also to the west. These new alignments are reflected in Revision 3 to Sheets 1, 2, and 3 of the original application, which are enclosed with this letter. The remainder of the application remains unchanged. If you require anything further to address these matters, please let me know as soon as possible.
