Salisbury St., 61h Floor 1612 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1612 Re: Annual Report for Fletcher, NC -- NCS000424 Dear Mrs. Powell: COUNCIL MEMBERS: SHEILA FRANKLIN PRESTON BLAKELY ROBERT DAVY EDDIE HENDERSON This letter is to serve as the Town of Fletcher's annual report which is typically due in the Fall. As per our previous discussion, you had indicated that since we were still.awaiting our new permit, that we could provide a one page report providing the status of the compliance audit. Fletcher was audited in July of 2020, and subsequently received Notice of Violation on July 20, 2020. As required, the Town submitted all required documents to NCDEQ, including the draft SWMP (and subsequent revisions). The Town is currently still awaiting issuance of our new permit, which was pushed to sometime in 2022. We are continuing to work with McGill Associates and NCDEQ on revisions to the SWMP as requested. Since we had anticipated that the new permit cycle would begin July 1, 2021 the turn of the new fiscal year), we are now ramping up efforts on year one of new permit cycle even though not officially under a new permit yet. It is my understanding that we would then submit a full annual report that would be due at the end of August, 2022.
