In response to the submittal of a State Stormwater: Permit Transfer Application Form received by our office on August 16,
2021, a Compliance. Evaluation Inspection was conducted on August 20, `2021 at, the Wedgefeld Phase IV Subdivision
located off US Highway 401 in Hoke County. The purpose of the inspection was to ensure compliance with State
Stormwater Management Permit SW6180604, which was issued to Thomas Family Business, Inc. on August 7, 2018.. A
copy of the Compliance Inspection Report is enclosed for your review. As a result of the inspection and subsequent file
review, it has been determined that the facility is compliant with the conditions of the subject permit` and approved
stormwater management plans.

Inspection Summary:
Inspection conducted in response to submittal of a permit transfer application, which was initially received on 8/16/2021
A requested revised page 6 with correct signature for the proposed permittee was received via email on 8/17/2021 with
hard copy original received on 8/20/2021. At the time of inspection, the associated built -upon area (BUA) and the
stormwater control measure (wet pond) appeared to be constructed/maintained per the permit and approved stormwater,
management plans. A few maintenance items that were observed during a previous site visit conducted on 8/10/2021,
where the inspector met with Mr. Carroll Thomas and Mr. Radford Brown, had been addressed. This included repair of
some erosion on the forebay berms, removal of accumulated sediment from the main pond and additional stabilization
some bare areas. This inspection report will be sent to the current permittee (Thomas Family Business, Inc.) with a copy
provided to the proposed permittee (Wedgefield Owners Association). Permit will be transferred to the proposed
permittee under separate letter.
