Please see the silt loss report below sent from the project inspector. There was a reported 1.11 inches of rain within
24hrs on Thursday 8/19/21. I have advised the inspector to have the contractor proceed with the repairs ASAP before
the next anticipated rain event.

Please let me know if you need any additional information. I will plan to visit the site on Monday.

Subject: Silt Loss on R3421-B Section

First video is of Sta 178+00 +/- LT-L- approximately 6 CY of silt loss.
Recommend removing silt from creek channel using hand equipment and fix silt fence back and cleaning
out the Type B check, adding more riprap checks with sump holes to prevent further problems.
Second and Third picture is at Sta 168+00 +/- LT-L- approximately 4 CY of silt loss.
Recommend removing silt from creek channel using hand equipment and repair slope drains, adding
more riprap and geotextile fabric to side of the bank where the incident occurred. Repair silt fence and
add more devices to prevent further failure.
