Dear Mr, Farlow:
After heavy storms on May 15, 2010 you contacted NCDOT and NCDENR about turbid water and silt reaching your
lake. On October 25, 2010, the Geotechnical Engineering Unit completed a pond sediment investigation at your
property. The Department would like do a follow up investigation at your property to see how much additional
sediment has deposited in your lake
Attached is a Right of Entry that we would like for you to sign allowing the Department access to your property to
take additional soil samples in your lake.
