During Tropical Storm Zeta on October 29,2020 water overtopped the roadway.The inlet section of the pipe collapsed and deterioted causing erosion of the inlet shoulder.The water
that overtopped the roadway caused erosion of the outlet shoulder and what was left of the pipe deterioted and disappeared.The purpose of the project is to repair the damage and
replace the pipe.

The stream will be dewatered using the pump around method.The existing 73"x 55"Corrugated Metal Pipe Arch(CMPA)will then be excavated and replaced with 12'11"x 7'6"
Aluminum Structural Plate Pipe Arch(ASPPA)with 33'3"x 10'10"prefabricated headwalls.The work will be accomplished using frontend loaders,trackhoes,backhoes,skid steers,
trench rollers,sheepfoot rollers.On occasion boom trucks,forklifts,and truck-mounted cranes will be used.Once the pipe is in place,pavers,tack trucks,and rollers are used to
complte the shoulder and roadway work.
