Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this application: Residential Lot on Robinson Rd which totals appro)amately .87 acres. There is a natural drainage ditch on the North side of the property that runs the lower 1/2 of the property. The west boundary/lot line is the 760 elevation of Lake Norman. The 50 ft. State of North Carolina buffer area is sown in grass. The general use of the land pertaining to this application is our safe and reasonable use of lake access. 3b. Provide a detailed description of the proposed activity including its purpose and include the type of equipment to be used:* This project requests installing a 50 ft. long and 3 ft. wide walkway from the Lake Norman 760 ft elevation to the State of North Carolina Lake Norman buffer. The project also includes continuing this same walkway, approximately 55ft., to the newly constructed home at 329 Robinson Road, Mooresville NC. The walkway will consist of a base of crusher run, polymeric sand. Paver (4x4 with polymeric sand) will be the walking surface. The purpose of this walkway will be the access from the home to the dock. In addition, large rocks will be installed on a piece of shoreline where there is not any rip -rap and the terrain drops vertically approxdmately 13 inches. This work is for erosion control and soil preservation. Specialist), Dennis Whitaker (Duke Energy), and Joe Klutz (Duke Energy) to be certain that I tried to meet necessary expectations and requirements.
