In my opinion, jute and live tree stakes will not be sufficient enough to hold these banks after construction. Perhaps we can re- think the restoration on this waterbody to allow the use of rock rip rap over the ditch line at a minimum with jute and tree stakes along the remainder of the disturbed bank area. Also, the HDD on the Neuse River has been delayed a bit due to the recent rains and high water / flooded areas on either side of the river. Depending on how the rest of the week looks regarding rainfall, REM may begin mobilizing by next weekend and start one of the pilot bores the week of 7/15....1 will keep you posted. Give me a call if you have any questions. regards, Bob Baker
