NARRATIVE
SEWER SYSTEM:
This private sewer system was designed to service a charter school with 600
students and staff. It was permitted for a 6,000 GPD daily flow, a 45 GPM pump
station, and a 6-inch gravity collection system.
This permit modification is to add 360 new students with an added daily flow of 3,600
GPD. The 45 GPM pump station has been analyzed and can accommodate the added
flow without modification.
1,055 LF of new 6 inch gravity sewer will be added to pick up the new buildings. The
total flow for the system will be 9,600 GPD including the 6,000 GPD already permitted.

Hi Mark,
As explained in the email from Dean Hunkele, the sewer permit will need to be transferred. Fortunately, in this
circumstance the transfer can be processed in the Wilmington Regional Office with the modification. This would
eliminate the need to submit the transfer to Raleigh. Dean Hunkele is able to accept a scanned signed copy of the
PNOCF Form.
The current permittee is in the name of Coastal Habitat Conservancy, LLC. I have prepared the PNOCF with Coastal as
the existing permittee and Southport Charter Campus, LLC as the Applicant. Please provide an email address for Baker
Mitchell on this form.
The last page provides the certification signature lines for the existing permittee (Baker Mitchell) and applicant's (Mark
Dudeck) signatures. Once signed, please provide a scanned pdf via email and I will forward to Dean Hunkele with the
supporting documents. Thank you!
