Impact Justification and Mitigation u 1. Avoidance and Minimization 1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project: Roads and lots were positioned to reduce impacts to streams, wetlands, and riparian buffers on the Site. There are 5.058 acres of jurisdictional onsite wetlands, of which only 0.017 acres are proposed to be impacted. There are 2,950 LF of jurisdictional onsite streams, of which only 147 LF are proposed to be impacted. 1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: Construction fencing will be used to define the construction corridor and prevent accidental impacts, while silt fencing will be installed to provide additional protection from runoff. Ground cover will be established immediately after ground disturbance during construction. 2. Compensatory Mitigation for Impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the State 2a. Does the project require Compensatory Mitigation for impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the State? r' Yes r No 2b.
