Existing bridge 063 is 1 @ 19'-10", 1 @ 39'-2", and 1 @ 18'-10". Proposed bridge 063 is 1 @ 30' 21" Cored Slab, 1 @ 70' 24" Cored Slab and 1 @ 25' 21" Cored Slab. The Proposed bridge location and length will provide setbacks from the banks and remove bents from the stream. All pipe and ditch outlets have rip rap to dissipate energy before entering the stream, though rip rap is not to be placed within the JS limits. NCDOT will attempt to avoid and minimize impacts to streams to the greatest extent practicable during project design.
