Temporary floating metal docks are to be replaced with permanent,
wooden docks at the Hatteras and Ocracoke (Silver Lake) ferry
terminals. Permanent docks will require more piles than the
temporary, floating docks did but will remain in approximately the
same footprint. Drawings will be available on 07/23/2021 and will be
included, along with a detailed description, in the permit application.
