NCDMF is unable to provide in-depth project -specific comments, as the application contains insufficient
information. More information is requested regarding the methodology of the proposal (i.e. how will the
sediment will be removed, any required dewatering and how runoff will be contained), avoidance/minimization
measures, etc. The project would cause run-off into New Bridge Creek, which is designated as Anadromous
Fish Spawning Area (AFSA) by the WRC. Additionally, this creek leads to Tull Bay, which is designated as
AFSA by both WRC and DMF. As such, a more detailed project description is necessary in order to ensure
impacts to this critical habitat are avoided, minimized, or mitigated.
