Stephen Hummel was present during the inspection. The site inspection was in response to a complaint alleging sedimentation to the Tuckaseegee River. According to the inspector, during the process of changing out a filter bag at Wall 1, an erosion control measure was overwhelmed releasing turbid water into the river. When DWR staff arrived, the river was clear and no measurable sediment was observed below the outlet. The following are items that need attention: - ~ Station 25+00 RT - Maintain checks in ditch at Wall 1 - ~ Station 32+00 RT - Maintain check at outlet where silt bag was changed. - Add measures at Wall 4 outlet below spring outlet.
