(Description of Minimization of Water
Quality Impacts)
Project Description: The proposed project (B-4977) will replace the existing bridge with a bottomless culvert on SR 1313 in Wilkes County, NC.
Impact Minimization Efforts: The project has been designed to minimize stream impacts along the project corridor using 2:1 slopes with guardrail. A bottomless culvert is
being proposed due to the proximity of weathered rock along Fish Dam Creek.
