This email is in response to your letter dated 6 June 2013, wherein comments received from adjacent property owners are
listed. The developer intends to maintain a vegetated buffer between the back of lots 61 & 62 and the back of the Snug
Harbor lots. However, once the lots are sold, the developer will have no control over what future property owners may
want to do back there, as no deed restrictions are in place and there is no requirement, within the New Hanover County
Code of Ordinances, for a vegetated buffer between single family home subdivisions. Therefore, there is no guarantee
that the buffer will remain in perpetuity.
