This project generally consists of two new manholes and 115 linear feet of 8" DIP sewer main
extension connecting to the existing 8" VCP main running along Main Street. The purpose of this
extension is to realign the existing service line serving three (3) residences. The existing service
line currently runs under a portion of the building located at 120 Main Street. This line has some
blind bends and junctions which have issues with occasional clogging under the building.
Installing the new main extension would remove all off -site sewer from flowing under the building.
