The latest status, in blue type, is an update on the previous report, or other issues occurring during this quarter. • Regional Plant Setbacks o The regional wastewater treatment plant has been taken offline. • Regional Plant Repairs/Upgrades o The regional plant has had no repairs or upgrades in the past quarter, the regional plant was taken offline to utilize the mobile MBR wastewater treatment plan as primary treatment. o Spray Field o Freeboard compliance continues to be a challenge in the infiltration basin. o The ORC continues to use hand augers to help with breaking up the sand and hope that using the mobile plant will aid in the filtration process by providing quality effluent. o The ORC has also utilized a quad with pull behind disc to aid in the breaking up of the sand crust on the top layer. o The free board has been recorded on a weekly basis as per the SOC agreement o Freeboard was recorded as follows: April 1st —3.0 FT April 7th-4.0 FT April 18th — 2.0 FT April 25th — 2.0 FT April 30th — 2.0 FT May 7th-.5 FT May 14th — 1.0 FT May 17th — 1.5 FT May 24th - .60 FT June 3rd - .70 FT June 6th - .5 FT June 19t" - .60 FT June 28t" - .60 FT o Mobile Plant o The mobile plant PLC screen was replaced and put into operation. The mobile plant is completely operational at this point. o All flow was transferred over to the mobile plant the first of February o Additional membrane modules have been installed in the mobile plant, which brings the plant to a total of ten membrane modules in the plant. o The permeate pump piping was replaced on train two of the mobile to help with discharging of treated water. o The Scada system is scheduled to be transferred from the Regional Plant to the mobile plant to ensure the operator is aware of any alarms and can respond immediately. o There have been two new permeate pumps ordered to install on train 2 to aid in treating the flow of the regional plant. o These pumps and required piping will be installed as soon as all parts are delivered. o Replacement of Existing Wastewater Treatment System o Request for Qualifications for engineering services were sent out to engineering firms on December 29, 2021 o Statement of Qualifications for engineering services were received on February 4, 2021. o Hazen and Sawyer, P.C. of Raleigh was selected as the engineering firm for the replacement project. Their services consists of professional design services, regulatory coordination, bidding, and construction phase services for a new oxidation ditch package treatment plant with high -rate infiltration basins designed to treat a flow of 200,000 gpd with an option for 100,000 gpd. The contract was executed on June 28, 2021.
