Unattended sites may be eligible for a waiver of the rain gauge requirement. 4 See General Permit text, Table 3, identifying the especially sensitive receiving water classifications where the more protective benchmark applies. Note: Results must be reported in numerical format. for exam le do not report Below Detection Limit, BDL, <PQL, Non -detect, ND, or other similar non - numerical format. When results are below the applicable limits, they must be reported in the format, "<XX mg&', where XX is the numerical value of the detection limit, reporting limit, etc. in mg/L. Note. Columbia Carolina operates under Certificate of Coverage Number NCG210136. Stormwater samples were collected on 6/22/2021 from Outfalls 41, #2, #3, and #5. All lab results were below benchmarks values. This serves as the semiannual sampling for the facility and the Tier 2 monthly sampling for Outfalls #2 and #5. Outfall #2 has now achieved three consecutive results below benchmarks and therefore, Tier 11 monthly sampling at Outfall #2 is complete. Outfall #5 remains in Tier Two and will continue to be sampled monthly until three consecutive lab results below benchmark. This sampling event is the first consecutive lab result below benchmarks for Outfall #5. Due to a miscommunication with the lab and labels, Outfall #8 was not sampled. Sampling was attempted after finding out about the miscommunication however a significant rain event did not occur after the original sampling event. Outfall #8 will be sampled at the earliest possible date for the first semiannual sampling event in 2021. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at (828) 460-8556.
