Dear Mr. Swindell:
The final plans and specifications for the subject project have been reviewed
and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted for the construction
of a 2.0 MGD oxidation ditch type wastewater treatment facilities including an in-
fluent pump station, grit removal, dual aeration basins, dual clarifiers, chlorina-
tion, sludge holding, sludge drying beds, control and laboratory building, mainten-
ance Building, standby power, flow measurement, a recirculation pump station, flow
measurement, a recirculation pump station, a cascade aeration system, and miscellane-
ous onsite piping.
This is a Class III Wastewater Plant and the operator in responsible charge
is required to hold a valid Grade III Certificate.
This Authorization to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless the
wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in accordance with the conditions
and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0044440.
One (1) set of approved plans and specifications is being forwarded to you.
