Salisbury Street 1617 Mail Service Center Raleigh,NC 27699-1617 Dear Mr. Hawhee/D'Acronete,: The City of Goldsboro is pleased to submit its Annual Neuse River Basin Stormwater Management Program Report for 2020. The 2020 Annual Stormwater Report (enclosed) covers the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. The City continued its annual SCM inspection program for 2019-20. Two City inspectors performed 109 SCM inspections this past year.Nine (9) SCMs were identified as requiring maintenance before next year's inspection and maintenance has begun on three (3) of these to preclude the possibility of performance degradation and Notice of Violation notices. The City has no jurisdictional issues arising from the planning process. A summary of activities under the Illegal Discharge program follows: The City of Goldsboro established a hotline for illegal discharge reporting in 2004. The phone number is provided to citizens on the Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, The City's website is continuously undergoing updates and at the present time illicit discharges can be logged into the City of Goldsboro Citizen Request/311 link which is available on the City of Goldsboro web page or on the Engineering Department Stormwater Management webpage. There are forms and a process set up for recording and acting on reports. The responsibility for monitoring the hotline rests with the City Engineers office. Our Public Works Stormwater Division monitors our storm drainage system for illegal/illicit discharges during dry weather. No reports of illegal discharges have been received since the last Annual report. The City relooked three retrofit sites in 2015; The John Street Parking Lot, the Transfer Station, and the Borrow Pit. Three worksheets and maps were included in the 2015 report. The Education Action Plan summary of past activity for 2019-2020 and planned activities for the upcoming year is enclosed. If you need any additional information please contact me at 919-580-4377.
