Subject: NPDES Stormwater Permit Coverage Renewal COC #NCG160115
Dear Permittee:
For coverage tinder Stormwater General Permit for NCG16.0000, the Division of Energy,
Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) is notifying you that your reissued Certificate of
Coverage (COC).is available. This permit is reissued pursuant to the requirements of North
Carolina General Statute 143-215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between the state of
North Carolina and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, dated October 15, 2007 (or as
subsequently amended.) You must do three things:
(1) You must -access and pritit.a copy of your new Certificate of Coverage (COC) via this
website: https:Hedoes.deq.nci ov/Forms/SW-COC-Renewal
(2) Also, you must obtain a copy of the new NCG160000 General Permit from our website
here: https:Hdeq_nc gov/about/divisions/energy-mineral-land-reso-ur•ces/iipdes-stormwater-ups.
In addition to the full permit, the 2019 print package on the website includes revised monitoring
forms.
The General Permit authorizes discharges of stormwater, and it specifies your obligations with
respect to discharge controls, mpnagement, monitoring, and record keeping. Please review the
new permit to.familiarize yburselfwith all changes in the reissued permit. Your facility has six
months from receipt of the pertriit to update your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP)
to reflect any new permit requirements.
