This has been an unusual year for Tryon Finishing Corporation, our SIU. In June 2020 Carolina Yarn
Processors sold the business to Naiden Kremenliev. Mr. Kremenliev, along with his staffs guidance is
learning the process of the pretreatment monitoring schedules and the concentration limits for each
parameter.
The BOD violations were contributed to low flow, composite sampler tubing lying on the bottom of the
parshall flume and collection of a composite sample when facility was offline. This was not a
representative sample and was not include in the compliance judgment. The copper results were
noncompliant because of using turquoise copper based inks in the operational process of making
bandanas.
We will continue to work with our SIU to maintain a compliant 2021 year. If you have questions, please _
