December 1, 2006 to dredge 3744 cubic yards of Public Trust Waters to construct the proposed access channels to upland canal boat basin.. The DWQ received additional information regarding this project from you on May 15, 2007. Your information indicated that you had another parcel of property adjacent to the eastern canal that you would like to develop with possible access to the subject canal. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by l5A NCAC 05H .0500 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: 1. Wetland Delineation The information provided in the application indicates that there is an additional parcel of property to the east that was not reviewed in any of the previous information provided regarding this project. Please provide a United States Army Corp of Engineers approved wetland delineation for the subject parcel in question. This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to isolated wetlands, waters or streams. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
