The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Clinton Mosquito Control
on 7/14/2021. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with
the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG560034. The findings and
comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report
entitled ''Compliance Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.

The City of Clinton conducts mosquito control pesticide applications twice per week from June to
September. Half of the town is fogged on Tuesday and the other half on Thursday each week. The
city uses a London Fog Machine to apply the insecticide. Environ RTV is the pesticed used by the
City of Clinton. There were records availble documenting the calibration of the fog machine. The last
calibration was conducted on April 26, 2021. Chemicals are stored in a secured building in an
appropriate manner. Dennis Rich is the person responsible for mosquito control applications. All
required records and documents were available upon request.
