La Grange Bank Credit Release — Task 2
Dear Mr. Ham:
On May 6, 2013, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received documentation stating that site work
had been completed and monitoring plots had been established on the LaGrange Bank Parcel. On June
4, 2013, Katie Merritt, with DWQ, performed a site inspection of the subject site and confirmed that
trees had been planted and monitoring plots had been installed according to the approved Bank Parcel
Development Package.
According to the UMBI signed on October 3, 2008, the following Project Milestone has been met, and
the corresponding credits shall be released

2) Mitigation Site Earthwork, Planting and Installation of 20%
Monitoring Devices Completed
By copy of this correspondence, DWQ confirms that you have satisfied the above requirements for the
above - referenced tract and an additional 20% of your Neuse riparian buffer credits (0.2 x 37,939.7 ft2 =
7,587.94 ft2) are now available for sale. Also, an additional 20% of your nitrogen nutrient offset credits
(0.2 x 5,728.01 lb-N = 1,145.60 lb -N) are now available for sale.
Please note that nutrient offset credits generated at this site must be used for impacts in HUC
03020202 of the Neuse River Basin and that riparian buffer credits must be used for impacts in
the Neuse River Basin according to the guidelines in 15A NCAC 02B .0242.
