Inspection Summary:
Site visit conducted in response to submittal of Rescission Request Form. Reason for rescission is noted on the form as
facility closing on 7/31/2021 with a new company expected to move into the building on 8/1/2021. Met with Jonathan Ward,
Plant Technical Manager, at the facility to confirm that industrial activities have ceased and materials removed from the site.
At the time of inspection, it was evident that plant operations had ceased, but some materials/equipment were observed
outside of the plant. According to Mr. Ward, this equipment was remaining onsite for the new owners. It is Mr. Ward's
understanding that the new owners will be conducting similar industrial activities (textile manufacturing). Therefore, a copy of
the NOI application for coverage under the NCG170000 permit was left with Mr. Ward in case he had the opportunity to
provide to the new owners so that they could apply for and obtain their own permit coverage. Based on the observations
noted above, staff with the Fayetteville Regional Office have no objections to rescission of NCG170301.
