INSTRUMENT OF COMBINATION
This INSTRUMENT OF COMBINATION is made this the 22nd day of
October, 2019, by GRADY WILLIAM CONNER, not married, 820 2nd Ave SW,
Hickory, NC 28602;
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the maker of this instrument of combination owns certain lots
that he acquired as follows:
a. Instrument of Combination recorded in Book 2425, page 791, Burke
County Registry. (REID 33843, 33844, 33845, 33846, 33847, and 33848)
b. General Warranty Deed recorded Book A3 i , page o Burke County
Registry. (REID 33849 and 33850)
WHEREAS, the owner of these lots wishes to combine then into a single
parcel of land for the purpose of complying with all applicable provisions of the
Burke County Watershed, Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances and to cause the
parcels to be considered as one parcel for tax purposes; and
WHEREAS, this is a limited special purpose instrument for the purposes
specified above and not a conveyance or modification of the ownership interests in
the property hereinafter described; and

WHEREAS, upon execution and recordation of this instrument, the
properties acquired by the aforementioned deed shall be combined and hereafter be
treated as one parcel of land;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is my intent that the property described in Exhibit
"A' will hereafter be listed, assessed and taxed as one tax parcel for ad valorem
taxes and that that property will be considered as one parcel for subdivision and
zoning purposes.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the maker has hereunto set his hand and seal, as
