User Defined SCM Maintenance Requirements
Section 1
Important operation and maintenance procedures:
- The entire vegetated area within the Solar Power Plant will be carefully managed to reduce the
- sediment load leaving the site.
- After the first-time fertilization to establish the permanent ground cover on the vegetated areas
- of the Solar Power Plant, minimize use of herbicides and fertilizers per NCDEQ Stormwater
- Design Manual E-6
- Avoid compaction of subsoil per NCDEQ Stormwater Design Manual E-6 Rec 1
- Avoid concentration of stormwater per NCDEQ Stormwater Design Manual E-6 Rec 3
The system will be inspected at least quarterly. Records of operation and maintenance will be kept in a known
set location and will be available upon request.
Section 2
Inspection activities shall be performed as follows. Any problems that are found shall be repaired immediately.
