Location description: The Wexford Subdivision project is located on the east side of Ossipee Street, lust north of its intersection
with N. Manning Avenue, north of the Town of Gibsonville in Alamance County, North Carolina.
Description of projects area and activity: This verification authorizes the use of Nationwide Permit (NWP) 29 to construct stream
and wetland impacts associated with construction of the Wexford Subdivision. Specifically, this verification authorizes the
permanent loss of 89 linear feet (355 square feet) of Stream SC (Impact S1) to accommodate culvert and road fill, and an
additional 29 linear feet (114 square feet) of no -loss permanent impact for rip -rap streambed stabilization (Impact S2). A
stream pump around would be employed as shown on the attached exhibit CWI-1.8. This verification also authorizes use of
NWP 29 to construct the permanent loss of up to 0.065 acre of Wetland WE to accommodate road fill and culvert placement
(Impact W1), an additional 216 square feet (0.005 ac) for riprap stabilization downstream of this crossing (Impact W2). The
upslope side of this crossing would include a rock sill at the culvert inlet to preserve hydrology of the upslope wetland. Lastly,
this verification authorizes the temporary impact to 0.026 acre (Impact W3) and 0.016 acre (Impact W4) of Wetland E, 0.011
acre (Impact W5) of Wetland C and 0.019 acre (Impact W6) of Wetland B to facilitate construction of retaining walls for lot
fill.

Conditions, your application signed and dated 4/30/2021, supplemental information received 7/15/2021, and the enclosed plans
Wexford Environmental Impact (sheets CWI-1.1 — 1.5, and 1.7) dated 6/14/2021. Any violation of the attached conditions or
deviation from your submitted plans may subject the permittee to a stop work order, a restoration order, a Class I administrative
penalty, and/or appropriate legal action.
This verification will remain valid until the expiration date identified below unless the nationwide and/or regional general permit
authorization is modified, suspended or revoked. If, prior to the expiration date identified below, the nationwide and/or regional general
permit authorization is reissued and/or modified, this verification will remain valid until the expiration date identified below, provided
it complies with all requirements of the modified nationwide permit. If the nationwide and/or regional general permit authorization
expires or is suspended, revoked, or is modified, such that the activity would no longer comply with the terms and conditions of the
nationwide permit, activities which have commenced (i.e., are under construction) or are under contract to commence in reliance upon
the nationwide and/or regional general permit, will remain authorized provided the activity is completed within twelve months of the
date of the nationwide and/or regional general permit's expiration, modification or revocation, unless discretionary authority has been
exercised on a case -by -case basis to modify, suspend or revoke the authorization.

1. SET UP PUMP WITH SUCTION AND DISCHARGE HOSE.
2. INSTALL UP -STREAM SANDBAG DMA.
3. INSTALL DOWN -STREAM SANDBAG DAM.
4. THE PUMP MUST RUN CONTINUOUSLY WHILE WORKING IN THE STREAM.
5. STREAMBANKS MUST BE STABIUZED AT THE END OF EACH DAY.

1. SANDBAG DIKES SHALL BE SITUATED AT THE UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM ENDS OF THE WORK AREA, AND STREAM FLOW
SHALL BE PUMPED AROUND THE WORK AREA. THE PUMP SHOULD DISCHARGE ONTO A STABLE VELOCITY DISSIPATER
CONSTRUCTED OF RIPRAP OR SANDBAGS.
2. WATER FROM THE WORK AREA SHALL BE PUMPED TO A SEDIMENT FILTERING MEASURE SUCH AS A SEDIMENT BAG OR OTHER
APPROVED DEVICE. THE MEASURE SHALL BE LOCATED SUCH THAT THE WATER DRAINS BACK INTO THE CHANNEL BELOW THE
DOWNSTREAM SANDBAG DIKE WITHOUT CAUSING FURTHER EROSION BETWEEN THE SEDIMENT FILTER BAG AND THE STREAMBANK.
