Please see the enclosed signed certification for the completion of the authorized activity (culvert pipe
installation).
Please confirm if this signed PDF copy is sufficient or if you would like me to also mail the
signed hard copy.
Please also see the two reference pictures of the completed project.
We seeded the areas outside the ends of the culvert and I was hoping they would have sprouted for
the picture but I did not want to wait any longer to send this.
We had wanted to follow the recommendation for the metal pipe material however it would not
support the capacity needed for this crossing and therefore double walled black pipe was used. That
said, I already see a nice layer of sediment along the bottom of the pipe.
The crossing is actually slightly sloped essentially matching the property slight downhill slope. We
have already had some heavy rains and the rain water drains across the crossing in the direction of
the slope and not over the edges and into the spring ditch.
All in all we feel it turned out really well.
