I concur with issuance of the above permit as I have no appreciable expertise in implementation of the Clean Water Act requirements and have minimal understanding of the information provided. As a result, I have no basis for opposing the permit. Please also note that the nearest downstream raw water intake for a public water system is associated with the City of Mooresville and is located approximately 5.9 miles downstream. Due to its small size, sludge and solids removal happens on an as -needed basis. This typically occurs three to four times annually. When solids accumulate in the secondary clarifier, they are pumped by a local septic tank company, typically Lentz Septic in Statesville, and disposed of accordingly.
