Anneliese,
I have a couple of suggestions/recommendation. They should probably rake/rip that area to assist in the re-establish of
the natural vegetation. That soil can become hard pack when it dries out, plus it still appears to be a little high in the
very back and low in front of the wattle. Based on the amount of material that was lost this must be in a sag, therefore
you may want to consider special sediment fence at this location in lieu of a wattle. Just a thought.

Attached please find a photo of site 33 after the clean-up. The shoulder still needs to be mulched and seeded, and they
will be replacing the wattle.

The dimensions of the sediment loss is approximately 16’ x 16’ and 6-8” deep. I will be following up as the clean-up is

Stephen, Brad, and Hannah,

The U-4751 project in New Hanover County had a loss of sediment into wetlands which was discovered today after the
rain yesterday (see attached photo). The amount is estimated to be between 5 and 7 cubic yards of material. The
contractor will be removing the material by hand and will notify me when it is complete.
The location is Site 33 at Station 20+00 LT Y8RPDB
