Dear Mr. Tharrington,
We received your letter stating our failure to calibrate irrigation equipment in accordance with
Condition 11.26. for hog farms. The following actions have been taken to correct our mistake:
1. We contacted Amanda Hatcher (NC State Extension Office) to complete and updated
our calibration records. Please see enclosed copies of the calibrations completed on 5-
13-21.
2. Reminders and updates are discussed in our meetings as well as continual checks to
ensure the schedules are accomplished by the due dates according to our Swine
Management Waste Permit.
This violation was an oversight, and we are certain that it will not happen again with the new
measures we have put in place.
