There were a number of stream sites where classifications were questioned. The June 11, 2001 letter detailing jurisdictional classifications will be provided to the hydraulic consultants for review. Sheet 6: It was recommended to improve the outlet transition/angle from the detention pond to the channel. Richard stated he would review the site for acceptability of ditching through wetland. Otherwise, may have to be piped. It was stated a pipe system will outlet at Big Buffalo Creek versus a ditch due to the steep terrain. It was recommended to pipe to a drainage structure (JB) prior to the creek banks, then pipe "flat" to the creek. Provide velocities at outlet. Sheet 8: It was discussed that the wetland below the pond dam may be impacted in order to breach the dam. There was discussion on whether to show as "total take ". Sheet 8: The stream classification at crossing Sta 69 +00 —L- was questioned. It was stated this site was listed as "Intermittent -No Mitigation Req'd". Sheet 9: It was stated a box culvert is proposed for the jurisdictional stream crossing. It was observed that the topo indicated a potential spring. This will need to be located and addressed. Sheet 12: It was stated a box culvert is proposed for the jurisdictional stream crossing. It was recommended to use an overflow pipe in swale. Sheet 14: It was recommended to use embankment rip rap at the ditch tie -in at the proposed box culvert inlet. Sheet 15: It was recommended to relocate the pipe outlet out of the wetland, if possible. Sheet 16: It was stated a box culvert is proposed for the jurisdictional stream crossing. Sheet 18: The stream classification downstream of the pond was questioned. It was stated this site was listed as "Intermittent -No Mitigation Req'd ". The meeting was adjourned
