Subject: U-4751 Military Cutoff Rd. Extension Sediment at Site 33

Stephen, Brad, and Hannah,
The U-4751 project in New Hanover County had a loss of sediment into wetlands which was
discovered today after the rain yesterday (see attached photo). The amount is estimated to be
between 5 and 7 cubic yards of material. The contractor will be removing the material by hand and
will notify me when it is complete.

The location is Site 33 at Station 20+00 LT Y8RPDB
