The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Washington Mill on
7/20/2021. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the
conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG500200. The findings and comments
noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled
"Compliance Inspection Report".

The facility has not discharged any wastewater that is covered under this permit since the last
inspection. The boiler has not operated in the last two years while the air compressor is only ran as
needed.
Currently, if there is a discharge from the air compressor or boiler the wastewater is disposed of in
the City of Washington's sewer system.
The facility was reminded that sampling will be required as stated in General Permit NCG500000 if
there is a discharge to the receiving stream in the future.
