Dear Mr. Cannon:
The Division received the response documents submitted by your Authorized Representative (Jay
Johnston of High Country Engineering). The response documents listed the actions being taken to
address future wastewater treatment capacity, as required by 15A NCAC 02T.0118 (1).
The submitted documents, in addition to the reduction in discharge flow from the Saluda WWTP to less
than 80% of permitted capacity, have satisfied the requirements of 02T.0118 (1). Therefore, the
Division is removing the sewer line moratorium from your municipality.
