Site inspection was conducted by Kevin Mitchell with the Asheville Regional Office on July 14, 2021. Jimmy Ownby
was present during the inspection. The following are items that need attention:
- ~ Station L 16+00-20+00 LT - Groundcover needed on slopes below proposed wall. According to Jimmy, this area is
actively being worked (footers for wall).
- ~ Station L 18+62 LT - A small amount of sediment was observed past the silt fence. Less than a 5 gallon bucket.
Check silt fence to make sure there are no voids and remove any sediment.
- ~ Station L 23+00 LT - add stone to silt fence outlet.
- ~ Station L 26+00 LT - septic still needs to be pumped to prevent a water quality violation. According to the Resident
Engineer, the landowner has been notified and is still coordinating with a contractor to have the septic pumped.
