Comments:
We do not think that there are any impacts due to the deck already existing. It is
being demo'd, rebuilt to the same size and then covered with screen.
D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
la. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project.*
There are none, as all that we are doing is demo'ing an existing deck and rebuilding
to the same size. Then, we will cover and enclose with screen. The footprint of the
house is not being changed in any way.
1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.*
There are not any measures to be taken to minimize or avoid impacts. There will not
be any use of any heavy equipment.
E. Diffuse Flow Plan
la. What type of SCM are you providing?*
✓ Level Spreader
r Vegetated Conveyance (lower SHWT)
✓ Wetland Swale (higher SHWT)
17 Proposed project will not create concentrated stormwater flow through the
buffer
✓ Other SCM that removed minimum of 30% nitrogen

MAP INFORMATION
The soil surveys that comprise your AOI were mapped at
1:24,000.
Please rely on the bar scale on each map sheet for map
measurements.
Source of Map: Natural Resources Conservation Service
Web Soil Survey URL:
Coordinate System: Web Mercator (EPSG:3857)
Maps from the Web Soil Survey are based on the Web Mercator
projection, which preserves direction and shape but distorts
distance and area. A projection that preserves area, such as the
Albers equal-area conic projection, should be used if more
accurate calculations of distance or area are required.
This product is generated from the USDA-NRCS certified data as
of the version date(s) listed below.
Soil Survey Area: Wake County, North Carolina
Survey Area Data: Version 20, Jun 3, 2020
Soil map units are labeled (as space allows) for map scales
1:50,000 or larger.
Date(s) aerial images were photographed: Jan 1, 1999—Dec 31,
2003
The orthophoto or other base map on which the soil lines were
compiled and digitized probably differs from the background
imagery displayed on these maps. As a result, some minor
shifting of map unit boundaries may be evident.
