The following chart compares the modification dated April 6, 2007, and the current requested modification. The 04262007 modification requested a sanitary sewer extension to serve 24 single family dwellings and 7 manholes and 1,377 linear feet of 8-inch sewer lines were installed and final engineering certification was received on January 30, 2008. The current modification is requesting to use the previously installed manholes and lines with the exception of 193 linear feet and 1 manhole in Luna Lane and 165 linear feet and 1 manhole in Gaelic Drive. MODIFICATION LINEAR FEET MANHOLES UNITS GPD 04262007 Modification 1377 7 24 10200 Current Modification 1260 6 67 15480 The 1260 linear feet in the current modification includes 193 feet replacement line in Luna Lane and 165 feet replacement line in Gaelic Drive. Therefore, 1260 minus 193 minus 165 equals 902 linear feet to be added to the 1377 linear feet from the 04262007 modification. The 68th connection is for Lot 21, the common open space with the picnic shelter if needed. The City of Statesville has been reviewing the plans for the subject project for 18 months and has never indicated that the sewer system installed under WQ0029338 has been abandoned or relinquished. Please contact me with any questions, comments, or suggestions. I appreciate your help and I look forward to your response. Thanks, Gerald Gerald V.
