Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project: No clearing is needed as HOA maintains growth by weed eating. Trackhoe starting at one end working toward the other to eliminate erosion washing into stream, just disturbing and replacing area needed in same workday. 1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: Working from trackhoe from top of slope, removing just enough material to replace with boulder. From top of boulder there will be a gentle grass covered slope to road edge. 2. Compensatory Mitigation for Impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the State 2a. Owner listed above does not live locally and is giving the HOA permission to repair the erosion problem. The bank between a small stream and Mosa Dr is actually located on Mr Gatti's parcel. The bank has started to erode in about three places within a 140' area. Star Ridge Grading & Hydroseeding will repair by placing boulders at bottom of bank within the 140' area. Steeper end of bank will need 2 courses of boulders, lower end will only need one course of boulders. Grass covered dirt will gently slope to edge of road. This should hold the dirt back from falling into the stream and keep the road structurally sound.
