Staff from the Washington Regional Office of the Water Quality Regional Operations Section
collected samples of the influent (supply well) and effluent (injection well) from your geothermal heat
pump system on January 23, 2019. The samples were analyzed for metals, nutrients, and other inorganic
constituents by the Division of Water Resources laboratory. A summary table of the analytical results, as
well as the laboratory reports, field sampling forms, and definitions of laboratory data qualifiers are attached
to this letter. The following two constituents were detected above state groundwater standards in both
samples from your system:
