The purpose of the inspection was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified within 2T .0403 and the assigned Deemed Permit WQCSD0663. Present during the inspection were Joel Mingus and Raymond Braxton both with Aqua North Carolina, Inc. as well as Tyler Benson and Bryan Lievre with DWR. The collection system has three duplex pump stations (i.e. Stations A, B and C) and numerous manholes and piping. All wastewater is pumped into an equalization (EQ) basin at the Bogue Watch WWTF (Permit W00029821), which is currently categorized as inactive. The Bogue Watch WWTF and EQ basin were inspected 5/2021 by others. The wastewater is then pumped from the Bogue Watch WWTF EQ basin within a dedicated line to the Cannonsgate WWTF (WQ0028666) for treatment. The Bogue Watch collection system is reportedly averaging 25,000 to 32,000 gpd with a high of 43,000 gpd observed 6/2021. The facility is well maintained and operated and is in compliance with the deemed permit conditions, as specified within Zr .0403. Please review the comment sections of the inspection report for more details.
