As a follow up to our discussion, after the horizontal wells are installed and aquifer testing is complete, probably next
year, please provide prior to injection a pre -injection plan with the amount of additives to be injected and the amount of
water to be extracted. This information was unknown on the application as field testing needs to be completed prior to
determining the amount of injectant needed. The amount of injectant to be used will need to be an amount that will
result in groundwater remediation, but will also be an amount the aquifer can safely accommodate and not result in the
plume being 'pushed'.
